BACKGROUND

Jim is the founder of the JD Bravo Company and serves as its President and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to this assignment, Jim served as the Assistant Public Works Director for Haverford Township, PA, where he was responsible for the oversight and project management of the Township’s capital projects. This included site development (demolition, infrastructure, and athletic fields), residential (single-family, townhouse, and condo), and a new Township Community Recreation & Environmental Center (CREC). The CREC project was a three-phase, $17 million development. The project occupies a 200-acre site that was the location of the former Haverford State Hospital. Jim’s duties included the Township’s coordination of the site development and general construction packages for the entire project.

Before joining Haverford Township, Jim worked as the Operations Supervisor for the Sporting Club at the Bellevue in Philadelphia. In this position, he was responsible for the oversight and facility management of the club and its interface with the base building’s systems.

Jim is honored to be a United States Marine Corps veteran. He was a member of the Force Reconnaissance Company, Special Operations, where he served as a Squad Leader for two tours of duty in Iraq. It was during this period of service that he suffered life-threatening injuries. JD Bravo Company owes its designation as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) to Jim’s service record.

In addition to his most recent professional experience and service record, Jim is a skilled carpenter having studied at the Williamson School of Free Trade and is currently completing his Baccalaureate studies at Drexel University for a degree in Business Management.

Jim’s broad experience and leadership capabilities serve as the foundation for the Company and the vision to guide its development to become the “go-to” resource for the various departments and agencies of the Federal Government.
